Golf Club European Tour 2005 - Scotland & Germany
During the 16th-24th of July 2005 the
championship golf team of the Rodos Golf Club visited
Scotland and Germany, to compete against foreign golf
clubs and watch The Open 2005 at the Old Course of St.
Andrews.
The team's first golfing challenge begun
with old fashioned golf links at its best: Cruden Bay,
where the history of golf dates back to 1791.
Rated as one of the worlds best links
golf courses, Kingsbarns (located in East Fife, near St.
Andrews) is well known for its intimate connection with
the sea. At this golf course the team has proofed that
it is capable of playing quality golf at its best.
On Sunday, the team has witnessed Tiger
Wood's victory live at this years Open Golf Championship
at the historical Old Course of St. Andrews.
On the 23rd of July the team, consisting
of a total of 6 players, has played against the Golfclub
am Lüderich. Although Lüderich played very fine golf,
our team captured the trophy in a close match.
